The primary objective of this program was to train the students of rural youths who have completed their graduation/Diploma/ITI. To meet the skill requirements of the industry and generate more employable youths especially in tier III cities and the rural parts of the country. The skill development program was conducted in collaboration with National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD). Skill development for employability was our focus. Which was used as an agent of change in promoting rural youths’ employment. Tier III cities and rural youth face a multitude of barriers in accessing skills and productive employment. With rapid digitalization and transformation that is taking place in the job roles. It is required for constant upskilling and skill development efforts are required for youths.
A total of 40 students from various rural parts of Bidar district ranging from a different background of Arts, Science and Commerce. This is our second program conducted at our organization on behalf of NABARD. The program was not just focused on the theory, but also on lab sessions with one-to-one monitoring of individual students helped them better understand the concepts. Everyone was given focus and we were successful in identifying their competency and gave them the necessary push towards industry recruitment.
After the Successful training of all the 40 students Samskruti Education Institution managed to get placement of 28 students, they are working on BPO voice and Non-Voice Projects at various organization located at Hyderabad, Bangalore and Bidar. The average salary per youth is in the range of 12000-14000 rupees. We have given them their first career job, once they get the experience and switch to their dream job.
